DRYING UNITS MOD. ECO | ||||||
GENERAL TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS: | ||||||
The
use of condensation dryers (equipped with a compressor) is an efficient
and energy-wise way of drying wood. Compared to the conventional dryers
(using air exchange) the drying of freshly-sawed wood using a compressor
requires one-third ~ energi, thus making it very competitive in the market. |

The air
entering the dryer is firstly dehumidified and then reheated simply by the
operation ofthe heat pump cycle. The cold evaporator condenses the warm,
humid air, recovers the heat and channels it to the condensator thanks to
the compressor which also offers its heat.
It is a "soft" drying process, particularly suited for hard wood and light essences since it respects their characteristics. If the right dimension is chosen and it is linked to supplementary ventilation it can also be used to dry resinous essences. The refrigerator used belongs to the latest generation and does not contain chlorine in keeping with the "Directives against Air Pollution". The R134 is particularly suited to this end and it allows the dryer to be normally used in kiln up to 60°C. The construction characteristics of the machines also eliminate all of the problems linked to the corrosion of the tannin and other acids contained in the wood. The frame and pipes are made of aluminium and stainless steel. The fans have been treated with epoxy varnishes and the same is true ofthe heat exchanger. It is also possible to supply stainless steel and aluminium evaporators upon request. |
